This privacy statement applies to all online services of CuraBulaa B.V. (hereinafter referred to as 'CasaSearch'), based in Curacao (CoC/KvK 166816; CRIB/BTW 102693857), unless those services have their own privacy statement.

CasaSearch is an independent platform that collects, structures and makes available data of properties for sale and rent in well-functioning search engine. CasaSearch brings home seekers and housing providers together.

If you use these services of CasaSearch or contact the customer service department, the personal data provided and used by you will be processed and recorded. CasaSearch is responsible for the confidential and careful processing of this data in accordance with the requirements set out in the privacy laws and regulations.

When you use a CasaSearch Premium account, the subscription agreement will be archived by CasaSearch. We try to process the data as anonymously as possible so that your privacy is guaranteed. If this is not possible for administrative reasons, we will ensure that the data is handled carefully.

2. Reason for processing personal data

The stored usage data is used by CasaSearch to improve the services and the website. CasaSearch thereby tries to provide current and future users with better services and good service.

The reasons CasaSearch processes personal data is so that we:

  • Be able to enter into and perform contracts so that you can use CasaSearch's services;
  • Be able to process direct debits and manual payments so you can use the Premium account on CasaSearch;

3. Stored data

When creating an account , CasaSearch will ask you to provide some information.
If you have given your permission, we may contact you by e-mail about CasaSearch and the offers on the website. If you no longer wish to be kept informed by e-mail, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Facebook and Google

CasaSearch offers the ability to create or link your profile with Facebook or Google. This allows you to log in to CasaSearch with your Facebook or Google account . To make this possible, CasaSearch collects the following data:

  • First and last name;
  • E-mail address;
  • Facebook/Google ID.

CasaSearch collects this data to create an account , so you don't have to enter all this information yourself.

Contact form

If you contact CasaSearch, we will ask for your name and email address. These details will only be used to contact you so that we can answer your questions. The emails will then be archived so that we can always continue to help you in the best possible way if you have more questions about CasaSearch.

E-mail notifications

At CasaSearch you can use e-mail notification with new housing offers. Thanks to this e-mail, you will be kept up to date with the offer that matches your own living requirements. In order to provide this service, we use the e-mail address that you provide and ask for some additional information about your search profile.

CasaSearch uses this data to search for properties within the offer that meet your housing requirements, so that we only display suitable offers. You can unsubscribe at any time. You can do this by clicking the "unsubscribe" button in the e-mail or by indicating in your account that you no longer wish to receive the newsletter.

4. Retention period

CasaSearch does not keep your data longer than necessary. In order to provide you with a good service, we keep the data until you indicate that you no longer require the services and no longer wish to use CasaSearch in the future. In doing so, we do take into account the legal obligation to retain data for a certain period of time.

5. Provision of data to third parties

Without your explicit consent, CasaSearch will not provide data to third parties that are not part of its corporate group. There are exceptions to this, such as:

  • CasaSearch may provide personal data to parties who assist in the performance of its services. This may include estate agents, for example. This data will only be used to provide you with additional services. Should you give us permission to do so, CasaSearch will not be liable in any way for the way in which this third party handles your data.
  • CasaSearch may provide certain data if required to do so by applicable laws and regulations. This may, for example, involve a criminal investigation. In this case, CasaSearch will only provide data if this is clearly required.

6. External links and other websites

CasaSearch is a bulletin board for housing offers from third parties (housing providers, intermediaries, administrators). Should you access a housing provider's website via CasaSearch , the privacy terms and conditions of that party will apply. CasaSearch is in no way responsible for the collection and processing of data via a third party.

7. Security of your data

CasaSearch makes every effort to secure your personal data to the best of its ability so that it does not fall into illegitimate hands. To guarantee this, only CasaSearch employees have access to the database, provided this is necessary for their job. Other security measures taken by CasaSearch are:

  • Logical access control to prevent unauthorized login;
  • Mandatory personal password for account security
  • Automatically record all actions around personal data;
  • Encryption (encryption) of digital files containing personal data;
  • Securing network connections via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology;

8. Rights

As a user, you have a number of rights established by Curacao law. We would like you to be aware of your rights, so we are happy to explain them to you. We also point out that we only send the data to the e-mail address known to us.

Rectification and removal

As a User, you can have your data stored at CasaSearch modified or deleted at any time. To do this, please send a request to CasaSearch customer service. Our privacy contact will review your request and respond within 30 days. If your request is granted, you will receive a confirmation of the change at the e-mail address known to us.

9. Cookies

What is a cookie?

How do cookies work on CasaSearch?

11. Google Analytics
