It was late 1998 when I arrived in Curacao with my girlfriend and 2 suitcases. I worked for Blue Bay and Van der Valk Plaza as Marketing manager, learned a lot on this fantastic island. After 3 years I went back to the Netherlands to start an IT company in data management.
Now 25 years later back in Curacao with my family. Delightful!
But how difficult it was to find a suitable house. Especially
because the market was not transparent and it was difficult for homeowners
in the Antilles is currently (thankfully) going very well. You should therefore
search every day and get there fast.
