The medical care facilities are currently located mainly in Willemstad and there is definitely a need for medical facilities near Westpoint.The brothers Jan and Marcel van Kerkhof who are project developers in the Netherlands, became very fascinated by Peter's idea and traveled together to Curacao in January 2008 and looked at the possibilities of purchasing the land, Fontein

They both became very charmed by Curacao and the terrain in Park Fontein, both by the idea of the medical center and by the beautiful surroundings and the hospitality of the local people. They also visited the nearby Santa Martha home, where they felt the real social atmosphere of the curacaonians.

In June 2008, the sales deed for Fontein was signed. Since then a lot has happened, in cooperation with Studio 8 in Willemstad and with the steering committee, the subdivision plans were worked out and the first steps were taken to build a road and utilities
